A Bellwood police commander has been charged with possession of child pornography, accused of viewing it through Internet Protocol addresses at work and at his home in Lombard.
BELLWOOD, Ill. (WLS) -- Bond was set Saturday for a Bellwood police commander who has been accused of possessing child pornography, according to DuPage County officials. John Trevarthen, 45, has been charged with three counts of possession of child pornography, a class 2 felony, according to a statement from the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office.
