2 drop discrimination suit against Frito-Lay; other case moves forward
Two men on Friday dropped a lawsuit they filed last June alleging Topeka's Frito-Lay plant maintained a hostile and racist environment, while a third plaintiff in that case continues to pursue that suit. Attorneys representing Frito-Lay and plaintiffs Antonio Pead and Daniel Askew filed a joint stipulation of dismissal Friday in federal court. That stipulation doesn't affect the case continuing to be pursued by the case's third plaintiff, Melvin Smith.
