Peoria Police Department PEORIA, Ill. A Tuesday morning shooting in Peoria’s East Bluff has landed three men in Peoria County Jail. Peoria Police responded around 8:00 to the 1000 block of E. Republic on two ShotSpotter alerts, indicating a total of 14 rounds fired. No victims or property damage were found, but the officers did find shell casings in the street. Eyewitnesses told police the gunshots came from a reddish Ford Expedition. According to Public Information Officer Amy Dotson, classes at Glen Oak School did not start until 8:30, but the school was made aware of the incident. The vehicle in question was seen Tuesday a little before 6:30 P.M. around 2400 N. Sheridan. Police found out this vehicle had been stolen. ....
