Updated Cross Border Travel-Associated Direction 30 April, South Australia


Updates have been made to Cross Border Travel Direction in South Australia.
The Emergency Management (Cross Border Travel-Associated Direction No 7) (COVID-19) Direction 2021 came into effect at 1.57pm on Friday 30 April 2021.
This Direction acts as an appendix to the Emergency Management (Cross Border Travel-General) (COVID-19) Direction 2021. It specifies the level of cross border requirements (as articulated in the Emergency Management (Cross Border Travel-General) (COVID-19) Direction 2021) for arrivals into South Australia as follows:
Western Australia, Perth and Peel Region arrivals- no longer have any COVID-19 testing, quarantine or entry restrictions. This means that:
People now arriving from Perth or Peel Regions into South Australia are no longer subject to any restrictions. ....

'Koach Kicks Cancer' GoFundMe Campaign Launched For Mashpee Coach Chris Rendigs


A GoFundMe campaign for Christopher Rendigs, a football coach at Mashpee Middle-High School who is battling cancer, is seeking donations to help with medical expenses.
Last year, Mr. Rendigs was diagnosed with appendix cancer just days before he and his wife, Kailyn, had their first-born son, Knox.
The campaign, titled “Koach Kicks Cancer - Chris Rendigs,” was organized by Kevin McNeil and created on August 7. In just over eight months, the campaign has amassed more than $38,000 and is now less than $12,000 from hitting the target goal of $50,000. The campaign has 245 donors, 882 shares and 241 followers.
“By far the toughest thing I’ve had to do in my life is tell my at the time eight-month-pregnant wife that my CT scan has found ascites fluid in my torso and a large mass in my appendix. That It was most likely caused from cancer. That I had hit the wrong lottery of being a one-in-a-million appendix cancer patient,” Mr. Rendigs wrote in the Go ....
