The Mesa County Valley School District 51 Board of Education unanimously agreed to change Appleton Elementary School’s boundary.
The Grand Junction Rotary Club donated $10,000 worth of trees from Valley Grown Nursery to eight area schools.
The construction of the new Grand Junction High School only has about one more year left until it’s completed and when furniture will be moved into the building.
Potentially redrawing Appleton Elementary School’s boundary remains a priority for Mesa County Valley School District 51, but the district is still seeking parental input.
