TWO men charged over a seizure of €8m of heroin allegedly flown into Dublin's Weston Airport last year have also been further accused of "enhancing" organised crime.
Aradi Ignac, 49, of Kecskemet, Hungary and alleged pilot Zoltan Nemeth, 62, Sukosd, Hungary were allegedly caught importing drugs at Weston Airport in December.
A pilot charged after heroin worth €8 million was seized from a plane in Dublin is a national war hero in Hungary.
Each man is accused of unlawful possession of heroin and possessing it with intent to supply at Weston Airport on 1 December.
A court heard one of them claimed he thought he was carrying “special material” for making microchips, and the other said he was forced.
