Daltonganj: A local NGO has set up a lemon grass distillation plant in Garu under Latehar district in order to promote the plant’s cultivation in the Maoist-hit tribal area. The unit will be run by a samiti comprising men and women from the locality and the cultivation is expected to give a boost to farmers’ income, officials said on Monday.
