| An attraction billed as Florida's first snow park has opened in Dade City, northeast of Tampa. SnowCat Ridge boasts a 60-foot tall, 400-foot-long hill that's covered with artificial snow, where riders can descend on single, tandem or family-style inflated tubes. At the base there is an indoor snow shed called Arctic Igloo, featuring a small hill for children and space to make snow angels as well as an Alpine Village with shops or food.
