On January 13th and 14th, the Vital Statistics Unit (VSU), in collaboration with UNICEF and Hon. Orlando Habet, Area Representative for the Cayo Northeast and Minister of Sustainable Development, Climate Change & Disaster Risk Management, conducted a Birth Registration Mobile Clinic in San Ignacio Town, Cayo District. This initiative allowed residents from remote communities in the Cayo District to gain access to vital services such as registration of regular and late births and deaths, application of certificates, corrections of errors and deed polls.
