College board awards more than $126,000 in contracts

In two 4-0 votes, the Board of Trustees hired Aspire Construction in St. Charles for both projects. The company was awarded a $103,970 contract to build the canopy at the Area Technical School. It submitted the lowest of three bids for the project.
