One independent candidate from Almora has withdrawn from the Lok Sabha election race in Uttarakhand, leaving 55 candidates in contention. Arjun Kumar Dev withdrew his nomination on the last withdrawal date, according to Additional Chief Electoral Officer Vijay Kumar Jogdande.
