Byju's faces advisory board changes amid setbacks, with Rajnish Kumar and Mohandas Pai not renewing contracts.
Both Mohandas Pai and Rajnish Kumar had joined the advisory council after the edtech's investors–Peak XV Partners, Prosus and Chan Zuckerberg Initiative–left the board of the company last year
This comes a day after Moneycontrol reported that the cash-strapped edtech company has rolled out a new policy linking sales staff’s salaries to the revenue they generate every week.
Struggling with internal restructuring and a lack of funding, embattled edtech behemoth Byju's is still going through rough times. The company just implemented a new policy that links the salary of its sales team to the amount of income they bring in each week.
Byju’s said that the base salaries for sales team associates will be “suspended temporarily” during this period.
