Sometime over the next several days, the Arkansas Department of Transportation plans to activate the new traffic signal at the intersection of Albert Pike Road (Highway 270 west) and Crystal Hill Road, initially as a flashing signal in preparation for making it fully operational next month.
The dual left-turn lanes on Mountain Pine Road (Highway 227) that will allow southbound traffic to turn eastbound onto Albert Pike Road (Highway 270) are open today as part of the construction project to widen Albert Pike Road to five lanes, the Arkansas Department of Transportation says.
