Richmonds hilltop mall would have been crowded on a holiday weekend. Of course, times have changed. The mall has been sitting empty since 2021, but neighbors hoping to see it become something more just got a long awaited update on the new vision for the property. Last night the city and site owner gave the community a glimpse at plans to transform the area around the mall into a mixeduse neighborhood between interstate 80 and san pablo avenue.
