Lake merritt bart station. Velena jones just got to the scene. Velena, i could see that area behind you is blocked off. What can you tell us at this point . Reporter this area is continuing to be blocked off. What we know right now is that a man was shot and killed here at the street level of the lake merritt bart station. Were told that happened in the bus zone. Ill step out of the way to see what were looking at right now. Obviously crime scene tape around this bart station.
