I’ve been fortunate enough to spend most of 2020 working safely from home, but I’ve made it more difficult for myself than strictly necessary by sticking with the old, beat up, and cheaply built office chair I bought for $60 when I first moved into my apartment in 2018. It was designed for brief and occasional use rather than extended periods of seatedness, and my back was beginning to pay the price.
