Mumbai: Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh will be chairing a high-level meeting on Tuesday to decide upon the next course of action in the Arnab Chat Gate. The state government is also looking into how Goswami got access to sensitive information such as on matters pertaining to Balakot airstrikes in the aftermath of the Pulwama attack.
"We are gathering information about the leaked chats between Arnab Goswami and Partho Dasgupta. Some highly sensitive things including the Balakot airstrike & the Pulwama attack have been mentioned in the chats," Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh said, news agency ANI reported.

New Delhi: Repeated reference to the PMO in the alleged chat between Arnab Goswami and ex-Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) Chief Executive Partho Dasgupta has sparked a controversy. According to the alleged chats, Goswami claimed to know about important government decisions in advance and predicted that 'MIB Secretary will be removed'.
In the said conversation, Goswami can be seen promising Dasgupta, referred to as PDG in the chats, that has has 'shared points' with the 'PMO' and the MIB secretary should be 'leaving soon'.
