Hotel set to open in historical building in Old San Juan: Travel Weekly
| A detail of the Hotel Palacio Provincial scheduled to open this week in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The neoclassical structure in front of the Plaza de Armas in Old San Juan originally housed the Provincial Council of Spain in Puerto Rico. Prior to that it served as a citadel, a charity asylum and the Institute of Second Education. The National Register of Historic Buildings has described the building as "one of the architectural jewels of the historic district."
