BREAKING: Anti-Corruption Body, EFCC Frees 45 Out Of Over 70 Obafemi Awolowo University Students Arrested During Midnight Raid Of Hostels
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has released 45 of the Obafemi Awolowo University students arrested during a midnight raid on the school’s hostels. Over 70 students were arrested by the anti-corruption body when its personnel invaded some hostels in Oduduwa Estate close to the school campus in Ile Ife, Osun State in the early hours of Wednesday. The multiple arrests sparked a protest at the Ibadan zonal command of the EFCC office in Oyo State, which conducted the raid.
