SANTA CLARA COUNTY — Sprayings aimed to reduce the adult mosquito population are set to be performed Wednesday and Thursday night, after more insects tested positive for West Nile virus in Santa Clara County.

More sprayings have been ordered to cover parts of San Jose and Sunnyvale in order to combat mosquitos that have tested positive for West Nile Virus, according to the County of Santa Clara Vector Control District.
