We don't know yet. this is a very big deal to them and could change their calculations. i think france is clearly determined to lead a military effort against isis and would like support certainly from the united states as we saw with intelligence sharing and probably other european countries. i think they will be careful however about the image of bringing nato in and risking that that is then used by the islamic state to elevate this into a war between christian europe and muslim middle east, turning it into something bigger and helping isis recruit to the cause. i think they are going to be...
