High Court asks government to respond to plea by Centre for Policy Research challenging suspension of FCRA licence

The Delhi High Court has asked the central government to respond to a plea by the Centre for Policy Research (CPR), which challenges the suspension of its Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) license. CPR had its license suspended on February 27 for alleged violation of laws. The court has asked the government to decide on CPR's application for the release of 25% of its funds by September 5.
