KARACHI: Personnel of the Counter-Terrorism Department on Sunday claimed to have arrested a suspected militant, said to have links with banned Lashkar-i-Jhangvi, for his alleged involvement in several cases including the assassination of a former lawmaker of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement. According to a CTD spokesperson, “the CTD carried out a successful action in Lyari’s Mirza Adam Khan Road and arrested suspect Ubaid Rehman alias Capri and recovered a hand-grenade from his possession”.
