New Delhi, Mar 13: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Monday presented Rs 1,18,500 crore budget for J&K Union Territory, with a focus on good governance ,strengthening grassroots democracy, promoting sustainable agriculture, facilitating investments and industrial growth, women empowerment and social inclusion. This was the fourth consecutive budget of J&K which was tabled in the Parliament.

Jammu Tawi, Jan 11: The Jammu and Kashmir Administration will encourage and incentivize best performing Municipalities through additional grant-in-aid in the form of Urban Reform Incentive Fund (URIF) under Aspirational Towns Development Programme (ATDP). The ranking of the Municipalities across J&K will be based on the performance as per the benchmarks prescribed under Jammu & Kashmir

The Jammu and Kashmir government will encourage and incentivize best-performing Municipalities through additional grant-in-aid in the form of the Urban Reform Incentive Fund (URIF) under the Aspirational Towns Development Programme (ATDP), said a press release on Wednesday.
