Earthquake of magnitude 4.7 felt in Assam | Guwahati News

People felt strong tremors in the capital city Guwahati.
GUWAHATI: An earthquake of magnitude 4.7 on the Richter scale was recorded 17km west-northwest of Tezpur in Assam at 5.54pm on Wednesday.
According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake occurred at latitude 26.71 and longitude 92.63.
