11:00 last night. a preliminary assessment team went out into the field to kind of get an idea of what we would can see this morning. bright and early this morning, they started their assessment work to assess not only damage of city owned facilities but private properties as well to come up with estimates to be used for various purposed, for fema, et cetera. we have a very storm savvy team. city of ft. myers. experienced department directors and key staff. they know what to do and how to do it. so we're being pro active going forward and we have an action plan and we're going to carry it out....
