NHAI looks at record asset monetisation in FY25 after revising model concession agreements (MCA) for TOT projects

The Department of Investment and Public Asset Management raised a total of Rs 80,256 crore as receipts in 2023-24, of which Rs 63,749 crore was from dividends from CPSEs and the remaining Rs 16,507 was from stake sales in state-owned firms.

Asset Monetisation: MoRTH monetises its assets under three different modes -- toll-operate-transfer (TOT) model, Infrastructure Investment Trust (InvIT) and project-based financing, in order to provide all categories of investors an opportunity to invest in assets pertaining to highways and associated infrastructure.

State-owned NBCC and Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO) have entered into a Memorandum of Understandings to collaborate on consultancy services and asset monetisation. NBCC focuses on Project Management Consultancy and real estate, while HUDCO provides financial assistance for housing and urban infrastructure projects.
