The Ministry of Commerce said in a statement today that the two sides will hold talks to strengthen the bilateral trade relationship between India and Canada, promote investment and cooperation, and discuss green transition issues. The MDTI is a bilateral mechanism that provides an institutional framework for discussing a wide range of trade and investment-related issues and cooperation areas.

The dialogue is expected to cover topics such as enhancing bilateral trade relations between India and Canada, investment promotion, cooperation in green transition, including critical minerals, and promoting business-to-business (B2B) engagements.
