Deceased is Marcia Edwards, 52. At approximately 7:18 p.m., the Athens Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol received a call of a crash on State Route 144 near mile post 3. Edwards was driving a 2003 Toyota Tundra eastbound on State Route 144 when her vehicle reportedly traveled off the right side of the roadway, where it overcorrected, drove off of the left side of the roadway and ultimately overturned, the Patrol stated in a press release. A one-vehicle crash on State Route 328 claimed the life of a New Plymouth woman Thursday night.  Deceased is Tonya G. Ousley, 40. The crash occurred at approximately 8:38 p.m., the Athens Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported. Ousley's 2008 Ford Escape was traveling north on State Route 328. The vehicle drove off the right side of the roadway, where it overturned and ejected the driver, a press release from the Athens Post stated. Deceased is Daniel A. Huffman, 59. The crash occurred on County Road 47 (Hogue Hollow Road) on April 6 at approximately 7:15 p.m., according to a news release from the Athens Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The driver of a 1964 Jeep was driving south on County Road 47, and the vehicle slid off the right side of the roadway, striking a log and ejecting the driver, the news release stated. A driver was killed and his passenger was injured in a single-vehicle crash in Jackson County Wednesday morning.  Troopers from the Athens Post of the Georgia State Patrol were called to the accident scene on SR 330 at Savage Road just after 6:30 a.m. "The investigation found that a silver Infiniti Q50 (passenger car) was traveling north on Savage Road," said SFC Timothy Meyer in an email statement. "The driver of the vehicle failed to stop at the stop sign at its intersection with SR 330. The Infiniti traveled across the roadway, off the north side of SR 330 and into the wood line."

At around 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, The Logan Daily News received information regarding a possible crash on U.S. Route 33 East in Hocking County. The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) stated that a “crash” had occurred along the U.S. route between Possum Hollow Road, Township Road 129, and Rockbridge Road, County Road 10. The incident described by ODOT resulted in at least one lane closure.
