Scott A persistent burglar has been jailed for more than six years after raiding high-value jewellery, cash and a car in three house break-ins. Shane Scott targeted homes in Halifax and Blackpool and assaulted the two police officers who went to arrest him, Bradford Crown Court heard today. Scott, 44, of Mixenden Court, Mixenden, Halifax, was sentenced on a video link to Leeds Prison where he was remanded in custody.
