The trend of infected people outnumbering the fully recovered people continues. In the last 24 hours, as many as 2694 people recovered thus reducing the number of active cases to 30657. The recoveries included 886 cases in Jammu and 1808 in Kashmir.
Now the death toll of Covid19 in Jammu and Kashmir is 3992 people including 2045 in Kashmir and 1947 in Jammu.
In the last 24 hours, seven deaths took place in Jammu city and five in Srinagar city, the information revealed by the government said.
The district-wise details suggest that Kashmir lost four citizens in Anantnag, two citizens in Budgam, and one each in Pulwama, Kupwara and Shopian.

The Jammu and Kashmir government on Friday issued an order directing all oxygen manufacturing units within the jurisdiction of district Srinagar to stop the supply to any Non-Government Organisation (NGO) and to any private society with immediate effect.
The order further said that oxygen supplies to private persons, societies, and NGOs would be facilitated only with prior approval of the district magistrate.
