A section of the assembly members of Asante Akyem Central Municipal have called for the reappointment of the incumbent Municipal Chief Executive, Mrs Susuan Akomeah. A press conference monitored by (online platform) on Tuesday 19th January 2021 addressed an earlier press conference by an unknown group within the constituency and also called for the reappointment of the MCE. Present at the press conference were Hon. Oheneba Appiah Kubi (Dwease), Hon. Charles Gyasi Dapaah (Konongo), Hon. Samuel Ofori Amanfo (Konongo), Hon. Michael Appiah Boadi (Odumasi) Hon.
