Bucking chute honors Mitchell native Lee Anderson for $1 sale of land that became rodeo grounds
While Lee Anderson could have made much more profit on his 20-acre piece of land near Lake Mitchell, he opted to sell it for $1 in 1969 to give Mitchell a rodeo arena that's been a community staple.
