Joseph Kapp of Gardner sentenced to 2 years in crash that killed AJ Robbins of Lunenburg


WORCESTER  A Gardner man authorities say was drunk and speeding at the time of a Lunenburg crash that claimed the life of his friend was sentenced to two years in jail Friday in Worcester Superior Court. 
Joseph Kapp, who was 19 at the time of the Aug. 27, 2016, crash, pleaded guilty to three charges including motor vehicle homicide under the influence of alcohol, court records show. 
Kapp was sentenced to two years in the House of Correction on the motor vehicle homicide charge. He was also sentenced to five years of probation  during which time he cannot apply for a driver’s license  for a guilty plea to forging or misusing an RMV document.
