Shutter button halfway. that tells your camera you re going into auto focus mode, that you re getting ready. then when you see that moment, that subtle smile, any moment you want to grab, then you press down on the shutter button the whole way and it takes the picture much, much faster. in other words, going from 5 to 10 and faster than going from 0 to 10. then you say use the continuous mode. something tells me i need a new camera because i don t know what that means. you d be surprised. we only use about 10% of what our cameras can do, or any technology, for that matter. a lot of point and shoot cameras have what s called continuous mode. this is when you push down on the shutter all the way and it takes a number of shots in succession, so you re getting four or five shots in a row. and because it s digital, it doesn t matter. you re not going to waste it. it s not like film. then later when you copy those images to your computer, you can pick which one of those four or ....
