The show and put the questions to him, and i d love to have him back on and interview him again. forget the press and him and me. mr. lewandowski was speaking on television to his own supporters, to the maga crowd, to the public, to america, and he was saying he didn t remember he claimed this never occurred, that there was any attempt by the president to get him to k e kneecap the probe to jeff sessions why did corey lewandowski not even want to tell his own supporters the truth o about that at the end of the day that incident looks very bad. shannon brought this up in the last segment, this hocus pocus about executive privilege. her point is that is within kind of the white house once you go outside of it, there s no legal expert that stands behind that so how come the democrats don t use that what lever can they use as an automatic to just take that little stupid piece of paper away you don t need to be an expert to know white house privilege applies more to people at the white ....

You know, elijah cummings, a good person, a good person, to constantly blame a black person for these things when it was the government s programs responsible largely for the ghettos that we have today with the va and fha and automatic funding they did giving loans to whites and home loans and home improvement loans and leaving blacks out of it. so it s the government s responsible. not elijah cumming s responsibility that that district is there in that condition. so, greg, he said when he was talking about you tonight, after he says he doesn t know who you are talking about, he said we have tremendous african-american support. the latest poll shows his approval rating among african-americans is 9%, hiss the approval is 86%. now perhaps 9% is tremendous. well, it is, in his case. for him and the african-american community. what is your response to him? well, again, it s playing with numbers, 9% is tremendous. ....

Characters, what they say publicly and what is said about them, spills out into reporting. madeleine westerhaut, this is a figure who 24 hours ago was pretty much anonymous to all americans. right, and i think the context is also interesting here because of what jill just alluded to, which is that madeleine had been in the white house since the very first days of the administration, in january 2017. and this is an administration and a white house that has been characterized by pretty remarkable turnover. the fact that she had been there since the very beginning and was so close to president trump i think makes her departure all the more shocking and probably all the more poignant for president trump, who seemed to allude to that himself today, when he said how unfortunate it was that she had to go. but she did really cross a red line, he seemed to say, talking about his family, when he said her departure had to be, quote, automatic. tessa berenson, jill colvin, peter baker, thank y ....

Absentee ballots not showing up or what happened in arizona where they re restricting vote by mail access. provisional ballots being handed out instead of regular ballots because low-income communities can rarely come back a second or third day to prove that they have the right to vote the first time. you just mentioned the fact that the u.s. actually has a weird system compared to other places with voter registration. yes. almost all of us take it for granted. it s a two-step process. you become an eligible voter. then you have to go and register and then you have to go and vote. you don t necessarily have to have that. there are states that have passed, i believe oregon has, new york tried and failed, automatic voter registration. is that something that you think should be a goal for lawmakers and policy makers? absolutely. h.r. 1 would promote would require automatic registration nationwide, but we just saw it adopted in michigan. it was adopted in nevada. the challenge is ....
