PORTLAND — A man is facing federal charges after he attacked a courthouse security officer, who shot him, federal prosecutors in Oregon said.
The man who was shot while assaulting a security officer in the Pioneer Federal Courthouse in downtown Portland has been identified.
The man was shot and injured after assaulting a security officer at the entrance to the courthouse on Monday, federal officials said.
'Our focus is around maintaining why this program is in place.'
