Avient completes nearly $1.5 billion acquisition of DSM Protective Materials
The centerpiece of the deal for the Avon Lake-based specialty materials company is DSM's Dyneema ultra-lightweight specialty fiber brand. The Dyneema business includes six production facilities, four R&D centers and about 1,000 employees worldwide.
