The flu way in advance of your having symptoms. the problem with this test is it takes 12 hours to work in its current form. so if somebody comes into my office and i give this test, i have to make a decision on the spot. do i give out that z-pack that we always make fun of? do i give an antibiotic? if i have to wait 12 hours, the ball game is already over. with the flu, you have more time because it takes a while before people actually get the flu. so i think this is something for the future, not the present. >> i'm seeing a lot of commercials for tamiflu this time of year. is that helpful? >...
