Is Joe Biden to blame for this? Thousands have dashed to the border triggering heartbreaking scenes

Ana Hernandez fights back tears as she explains why she and her two-year-old-son, Matteo, made the hazardous journey from Honduras to seek asylum in the United States.
'There is no work in my country,' she says in Spanish. 'You cannot find food. My family wants a better life.'
The petite 25-year-old and her toddler were transported by people-smugglers known as 'coyotes' in lorries, buses and vans during a long and gruelling journey through Guatemala and Mexico, before crossing the Rio Grande river by raft under cover of night and surrendering to officers of the U.S. Border Patrol.

Vice President Kamala Harris has not visited the border in the 14 days since she was first tapped to address the "root causes" of the migration crisis.
However, Harris has been spotted in a Chicago bakery, spent Easter weekend in her California home, met with California Gov. Gavin Newsom, and traveled to Connecticut to speak with a Boys and Girls Club.
“I can think of nobody who is better qualified to do this,” Biden said at the time.
“When she speaks, she speaks for me. She doesn’t have to check with me,” he said.

Congressman Ronny Jackson (TX-13) released a statement Wednesday as to what he saw this week at our southern border.

Overcrowded Illegal Immigrant Holding Facility Near McAllen

Earlier this week on Tuesday, a Texas congressional delegation visited various parts of the Texas-Mexico border including an illegal immigrant holding facility near McAllen. The delegation was made up of 10 representatives who reside from different parts of the state, including Congressman Jody Arrington (R- Lubbock) and Congressman Ronny Jackson (R- Amarillo).
A day after the trip to the border, Congressman Jackson discussed the tour of border and detention facilities. “I visited the border numerous times as Chief Medical Advisor to President Trump, and I have never seen anything like these current conditions. The situation at our southern border is a public health crisis, a haven for criminal activity, and a threat to our national security," Jackson said.

WASHINGTON - Detractors call them “pork,” invoking the cliche of a local congressman bringing home the bacon. Advocates call them “community project funding.”
Whatever the appellation, the debate over whether Congress can ethically bring back earmarks — a maligned spending practice banished a decade ago — is fueling debate among Texans in Congress. For some members, earmarks bring to mind an ugly past that landed one of their own in prison. Others see reviving the practice as one way to return to a functional, maybe even bipartisan, political system.

Curious White House Press Corps Suddenly Not So Curious on Frail Biden

The Examiner began their story this way:
“President Joe Biden struggled through his first official press conference on Thursday, pausing frequently to check his notes on the podium and occasionally losing his train of thought as if distracted by the voices echoing madly in his geriatric brain.”
As
The New York Post has pointed out
here Biden used “cheat sheets” to get through his presser. As photographs show, this included a photo guide to reporters with the photos of reporters he was to call on circled.
Biden also had printed cards with notes for him to refer to. One photo closeup captures the President with cards in hand, the top one which begins this way, bold print in the original:

In the 2020 cycle, Intel gave $30,000 each to the NRCC, NRSC, Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. Corporate PACs can give $15,000 to national party committees per year.
A Cigna spokesperson said its PAC will continue to support organizations, candidates and elected officials who champion the company’s priorities, including the national campaign committees of both parties.
“We have not wavered from our commitment to disqualify elected officials that incited violence from CignaPAC contributions following the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. Our standard eliminates direct contributions to any federal or state elected official who encouraged or supported violence or otherwise hindered a peaceful transition of power on that day, or who do so in the future,” the spokesperson added.

The Department of Interior held a virtual public forum on the federal oil and gas program Thursday. You can view this program at https://www.doi.gov/events.
Several panelists delivered excellent presentations in support of the oil and gas industry.  Nicole Borromeo, executive vice president and general counsel with the Alaska Federation of Natives, said she believed in a balanced energy policy that looks out for the environment but also takes advantage of the large amount of oil and gas reserves in Alaska.
“No energy sector does more for Alaska’s economy than oil and gas,” she observed. “We do not operate in an either or space when it comes to energy policy. We refuse to be caught between the extraction industry and environmental conservation groups.”
