Van Heusen’s chief operating officer talks in length about the newly launched sub-brand ‘Denim Labs’, and how fashion has changed in the WFH era.
Van Heusen, a ‘power dressing’ brand from the house of Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail (ABFRL), recently launched a new sub-brand ‘Denim Labs’. Van Heusen Denim Labs ushers in a new age of denim, crafted for the modern-day professionals, who need to shift between work and play.
The brand has also launched a campaign, titled ‘Move in the New Blue’, featuring the face of the brand and Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez. The ad will be featured across multiple mediums, such as television, print and digital.

ANM adds consultancy lawyer, ex-media-in-houser Suresh Amesar as partner

ANM Global has added
Suresh Amesar as a media and entertainment practice partner.
Amesar had been a partner at Azendor Consulting and Indus Lexus Consulting in Mumbai for three years previously.
Before that, he’d had 13 years in-house, between Viacom 18 Media and Disney India (see full work history below).
According to ANM’s press release, he “is known to be an all-rounder by his seniors owing to his experience of working in different capacities during his tenure with [the] media giants”.
His joining takes
9 partners, including
40 fee-earners.
ANM managing partner Nidhish Mehrotra commented in the press release: “Suresh is a multi-facet lawyer and is the perfect fit for our consistently growing media practice. He adds to the team, his rich and extensive experience, which will help our clients achieve maximum legal prowess and backing.

There’s no dentist recommending the brand, instead, the Dabur Red Paste ad thanks its 35 crore consumers for making it ‘Desh ka Lal’.
Ogilvy’s latest ad for Dabur Red toothpaste does not promise to fight germs or whiten teeth. While most of us are used to seeing a dentist in glasses recommending a toothpaste to us, Dabur s new ad takes a completely different route.
Toothpaste is one of the largest, dynamic and most competitive categories in the FMCG sector in India. A press note mentions that Dabur Red Paste, since its conception in 2003, has been able to create a following in this category despite the presence of MNCs such as Colgate-Palmolive, Pepsodent, Sensodyne (owned by GlaxoSmithKline).
