On Saturday, Oct. 28, local law enforcement agencies and the Drug Enforcement Administration are partnering to host DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
The annual event allows residents to safely dispose of expired or unused prescription pills with no questions asked.
On Saturday, October 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the ACTIVE Coalition will join with the Union County Sheriff's Office, El Dorado Police Department, and the Drug Enforcement Administration to host DEA's National Prescription Drug Take Back Day at the El Dorado Walmart, 2730 N. West Ave.
The Drug Enforcement Administration will host its National Prescription Drug Take Back Day at locations across the country October 28, and the City of Florence will offer two locations to participate.
The United States Drug Enforcement Agency is holding its next National Drug Take Back Day this Saturday.
