Following a two year hiatus, "New York's Backyard Jam" is returning with 18 bands across three stages.
The Backyard will hold the second annual Backyard Jam fundraiser to benefit the Paso Robles Youth Arts Center on June 6.
– The second annual Backyard Jam fundraiser is happening on Wednesday, June 1. The community is invited to this event that benefits the Paso Robles Youth Arts Center. Guests can look forward to an evening celebrating youth arts while enjoying live music from the Youth Arts Band and Alumni bands.
Unfinished Business band leader Ed Miller spent years as an FBI agent, but what he always wanted to do was play rock 'n' roll. After seeing The Beatles on The Ed Sullivan Show as an 11-year-old, he begged his parents for an electric guitar and practiced, practiced, practiced. He was in his first band by 14, and though he kept his hand in music, his law enforcement career eventually subsumed his music dreams. Then he retired from the FBI, started Unfinished Business in 2003, and they've been going strong ever since ... except for that pesky last 14 months or so. ...
The community is invited to the Backyard Jam, a benefit for Paso Robles Youth Arts Center, a festive evening celebrating and supporting youth arts. Guests will enjoy live music from the Youth Arts student and alumni bands as they play live for the first time since COVID-19.
