One Washington Large Group Speech Entry Advances to State Contest
One Washington large group speech entry has advanced to the state contest following the district contest they held for themselves Thursday night. As district contests are not being held traditionally at host schools because of COVID-19, Washington High School hired their own judge for their improv, musical theatre, and short film entries. The musical theatre performance of “Title of Show” received a division I rating and advanced to state, featuring students Hannah Rees, Kevin Flannery, Quinn Wubbena, and Bailey Rees.
