At least four persons were reportedly killed in an accident involving a Toyota Hilux conveying a detachment of vigilantes accompanying the convoy of Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri. The accident reportedly occurred around Fadamareke, in the Hong Local Government of the state while the governor was en route to Mubi for a campaign engagement. The accident has allegedly been linked to excessive speeding while negotiating a sharp bend.
