Bhubaneswar: The state govt on Friday confirmed the first sunstroke death of this summer from Balasore district amid intense heatwave and humid condit.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said that severe heatwave conditions are likely in Odisha on April 20 and in West Bengal till April 22

Neighboring states like Uttar Pradesh are also experiencing high temperatures, indicating a widespread heatwave in the region.
