Sales of property in Indore and Ujjain divisions have jumped by 11% from the same period last year. The surge is due to a rise in registration of sale deeds for commercial property and plotted projects. The increase in property purchases has led to a decline in unsold inventory of flats and row houses in the city by around 30%. In the first six months of the 2023-24 financial year, 2,73,876 properties were registered across 15 districts falling under Indore and Ujjain divisions.

Property Registration: More than 50,000 properties were registered in Indore district during April to July, 2023 clocking income of Rs 689 crore, according to the data from the registrar office.

Property sales have recorded a growth in double digit in Indore, Shajapur, Dhar, Ujjain and Dewas in the past over two months since the beginning of the new financial year.

As many as 575 locations are proposed for increase in registration rates.
