The directors of Carter’s & Co Ltd issued a closing notice for its Barbarees Hill, St Michael store on its social media pages on Thursday. It said the company was informed of a positive COVID-19 case, but did not indicate if it was a customer or a member of staff. “Recently we have been made aware of a positive COVID-19 case at our Barbarees Hill location,” it stated. “Out of an abundance of caution we have taken the decision to close this location until further notice to allow staff to be tested.
