Despite the pandemic and many months of delays, Granger-based Bare Hands Brewery is moving forward with plans to open a brewpub in downtown South Bend. An agreement at the start of the year ended what was tantamount to a legal stalemate and gave Bare Hands 18 months to complete the conversion of the former Gates Service Center into a brewery and restaurant.
