COUNCILLORS have given the go-ahead for the first buildings on a flagship multi-million pound development.

Neil Tague Hatfields has acquired the remaining six-acre site within HBD Barnfield’s motorway junction scheme in Huyton. HBD Barnfield, a joint venture partnership between property developer HBD and Barnfield Group, delivered an 18,000 sq ft Aldi supermarket at the 11,5-acre site as phase one. Work is now under way on the second plot, a Euro Garages service station incorporating a McDonald’s and a Starbucks. BARNFIELD Developments are delighted to announce the purchase of a five-acre site for commercial development in Carnforth. The site, which has outline consent for B1, B2 and B8 use, is the latest acquisition for Barnfield Group’s rapidly growing development arm. Scheme proposals are currently being worked up for high quality units from 4,000sqft. The scheme, named Carnforth 356, is located on the A601(M) fronting Junction 35 of the M6.
